Please note that currently this product is released only with 2D panel configurations, so therefore we consider this an "Early Adopters" version. There is no virtual cockpit in this release, as development has focused highly on the aircraft and flight modeling systems. Also, the FSX version is not compatible with the DX10 preview setting. However, Digital Aviation understands the desire for virtual cockpits and DX10 preview compatibility, and they are working on an updated FSX DX10 compatible model now with VC, as well as a VC version for FS2004. These would all be a free update to all Early Adopter purchasers should it become available.

File Description:Scottish VA The MATVA Group present this revised pack of textures for the excellent Project Fokkers v2 F100/F70 package. Included are the previously released "Capercaillie" (US Division) and the new "All Africa Air" textures for both the F70 and F100's. Our thanks go out to Project Fokker for the excellent model which just happens to be one of my personal favourites for FS9. The original Capercaillie Fokker download had nearly 800 downloads, we think that's not bad for a VA texture :O) Feel free to come along and join us at www.matva.org.uk. But whether you join us or not, enjoy our handiwork. Please note you will need to have previously installed the PROJECT Fokker-100/70 v2 package available from

File Description:Unfortunately I forgot to include the gauges from the MATVA USA Project Fokker v2 F100 and F70 I uploaded yesterday. My apologies for any confusion caused. Please find missing files here. You must have "matva_fokkers.zip" to use these files. Those of you who have the Project Fokker v2 base pack shouldn't need these. Those that haven't will, if you intend to use Project Fokkers panel. My apologies for this oversight. www.matva.org.uk

Fascinating blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it fromsomewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks wouldreally make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your theme. Thanks a lot
Thank you, Bryn. You gave me new idea which I've tried. I googled about DRM you were talking about. And it looks like people are complaining in many places that they cannot play old games because MS has removed safedisc driver from their build. And it looks like it is possible to bring it back. All you need to do is download secdrv.sys, sign it so that Windows10 kernel won't reject it to load, switch off UAC, restart and that's it. Although some guides in internet mention that you have to set your OS in so called TEST mode which has been made for testing new self-signed drivers etc. But it looks like it works for me without setting that.
I've been able to set FS9 running with DA Fokker on apron for 40 minutes now. It freezed a couple of times for me. I've noticed it at 15min and 40 min from the start of the flight. But I have to admit, I was not always near PC to be confident that it happened only 2 times. After about 30-60 seconds sim resumes to work normally. Before applying that solution the whole sim would become totally unresponsive after 1-5 minutes. Now it's much better. I hope MS would provide some day official workaround for those who want to play games with this silly DRM protection.
Update: I've found out that rare freezes happen when there is Windows Error Reporting service is doing something. It looks like some exceptions are still thrown by sim. So I've disabled WER for FS9.exe process by adding the following to the registry:
DWAI and CPAI Fokker F27 (v2 and Mk500 respectively) models are required. DWAI model can be found at -models.com/downloads/dwai/fs_projects/index.htmlCPAI model can be found at Fligtsim.com. Search for cpai_fokker_f27mk500_ai.zip
I tried World of AI free downloaded packages first and had alot of issues with performance on my laptop. At first not to sure I wanted to spend the money on Traffic360. But damn I'm glad I did. Its loaded with traffic, atc, etc. Lots of things going on all at once which gives the feel of the real deal. I honestly haven't enjoyed my flight sim this much since getting into it 10 yrs ago. It's fun, exciting and busy. Keeps you on your toes. I highly recommend you spent the small amount to purchase Traffic260 because its definately worth the small cost. It ups your involvement in the game 10-fold. Traffic360 is great!
I thought it was a new product but it is not. The aircraft repaints are very outdated and there are very few aircraft taxiing around the airports. Most of them are parked at the gates. It impacts your frame rate at major airports. However, I really enjoyed features such "Spotty the plane enthusiast" and the fact that you can drive a van around the airport to see the aircraft closely. This is not the best product on the market but it is much better than taking off from an empty airport, or having to download tons of AI aircraft and real-world flight plans by yourself!
